GoldenCare Co. Inc. Caregivers are Caring,
Reliable, Trained, Professionals who work as
Independent Contractors. All Caregivers are held
to the highest ethical and professional
standards set forth by the President and Owner
of GoldenCare Co. Inc. All caregivers in the
registry are Insured and Bonded for safety.
GoldenCare Co. Inc. conducts the requirements
necessary to meet the criteria of the State of
Pennsylvania’s guidelines for all caregivers in
the registry. |

Criminal History and Background Report is
completed and documented

Report is completed by the applicant when
the applicant has not been a resident of
this commonwealth for the requisite 2 year
consecutive living period

Valid Pennsylvania
Drivers License or Valid Pennsylvania
Identification Card in the case that the
applicant does not drive a vehicle

Tuberculosis, TB: PPD
Test completed annually. If the applicant
has a history of a positive PPD test result,
a Chest X-Ray must be submitted. As set
forth by the Federal Centers for Disease Control &
Prevention

Nursing Assistants
Nursing
Assistants are Certified and Licensed
with the Pennsylvania Department of
Health. The Nurse Assistants
Registration Number is checked through
the Pennsylvania Department of Health to
check for reported findings of abuse,
neglect, and the misappropriation of
property.
Nursing Assistants provide assistance
with Personal Care and Daily Living
Services. Personal Care services
are bathing and showering, oral hygiene
care, dressing, meal, and toileting
assistance. Assistance with walking,
physical transfers, exercise,
activities, and self administered
medication reminders are provided by
Nursing Assistants.

Home Health Aides
Home Health Aides are trained and meet
the required certification of a minimum
of 74 hours of Home Health Aide
Training. Home Health Aides provide
assistance with Personal Care and Daily
Living Services.

Companions and Homemakers
Companions
and Homemakers do not provide assistance
with Personal Care assistance. Daily
Living needs are provided in addition to
companionship, safety supervision, meal
preparation, light housekeeping, grocery
shopping, and, assistance to doctor,
barber/ beauty appointments and on
general errands. Reminders are given to
the client for bathing, showering,
dressing, grooming, and self
administered medications.
All caregivers assist with arranging
outside forms of transportation and will
accompany clients to their destination
and home.

GoldenCare Co. Inc. encourages
all Caregivers to take an active role in their
professional development. Training is ongoing
and provided through one to one instruction,
required handbooks with testing, documenting
compliance and proper technique requirements are
completed.
Non Medical Home Care Services are provided 24 hours a day 7days a week. |
